But now you are so busy...
“MY Children how I long to spend time with you!
How I long to pour MY Heart out to you.
How I long for the days when you first found ME.
You couldn’t wait to spend time with ME.
You read MY Word, you talked with ME in prayer.
You believed.
But now you are so busy racing around filling your time with anything but ME.
Even when you are doing things for ME you go thru the motions.
The “accepted” way of doing things.
Why don’t you ask ME?
Ask ME how I want things done.
Ask ME what you are supposed to do in this moment, this day, this month, this year.
I will be happy to direct you if you are willing to make time to listen.”
Luke 10:38-42
38 Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. 39 And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word. 40 But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.”
41 And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. 42 But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.”
